She is an attorney at law, and for over thirty years her field of practice has been dealing with environmental issues, firstly as a judge and after 15 years as a Lawyer in her own office.

In June 2013, under the mentorship of Mr. Al Gore -The Climate Reality Project, she accomplished and acquired the title of Climate Leader – she was leading the Committee for Environmental Protection and then as a Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) (the Board of Directors) with supervision over the work of the Environmental Committee. In 2018, she became a member of the Task Force on “Arbitration of Climate Change Related Disputes” in the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris (ICC Paris) and Vice President of the Environmental Commission in the ICCC.

She is a member of various committees in the areas of climate change at the Ministry of Environmental and Energy of the Republic of Croatia and a member of the official negotiating team and delegation of the Republic of Croatia on the negotiations to the Paris Agreement in Paris (COP21), Katowice (COP24), Madrid (COP25), Glasgow (COP26), Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt (COP27) and  Dubai UAE- (COP28).

In 2012.  she established the Croatian Association for Carbon Footprint Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation (HU-CO2), which in 2017 changed its name to the International Institute for Climate Action (IICA) is strategically positioned in a way that brings together all experts in the Republic of Croatia in the field of climate change, and with such quality, (IICA) is one of the key factors in climate change and CO2 issues in Croatia, which is also recognized by the Government  and Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy.

In 2020 (6 months), as an international expert in climate change law and policy, she took on a very challenging role by coordinating the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the EUs Climate Change Team (three working groups: outreach, diplomacy, and task force, as well as IG Lex).

Between January 2020 and August 2021, she was a Board member of International Association for Sustainable Economy (IASE)  London, and started educating the Croatian business community about ESG. (www.iica-esg.com).

In June 2020, the European Commission appointed her as the Ambassador of the EU Climate Pact – 3 years mandate.

In July 2022, the Croatian Bar Association recognized her specialization in Environmental Law – the first such specialization in the Republic of Croatia.

In July 2024 she was appointed as a Board Member of the Scientific Council of COP29 Presidency – Azerbaijan.
